Sandy Sokol was a longtime cutting horse event secretary who formerly lived in Brenham, Texas. Sokol coordinated results from Bluebonnet Cutting Horse Association events, served as secretary for the American Cutting Horse Association and worked in the show department of the National Cutting Horse Association, Fort Worth, Texas. Sandy was loved by all that knew her, her greatest joy was her family and her love for the kids and the cutting horse family. Sandy Sokol, passed after a courageous nine-year battle with cancer.

Sandy Sokol Memorial Scholarship Fund was set up to spread the joy & love Sandy had for the cutting horses & youth.
